We have a strong platform for growth and have made great strides forward – now we really want to take things to the next level and this role will play a huge part in that.
We are seeking a New Business Director to join the team, who will be instrumental in driving the fame of the agency and managing the new business efforts. Growing and supporting the business managing inbound and outbound leads. Creating and implementing the strategic initiatives both in the UK and beyond.
The key responsibilities of the role…
- Accountable for the delivery of new business revenue; managing the sales strategy, lead and pipeline management. This will involve reporting back to the CEO and CFO on commercials, adapting strategy and sales & marketing activity to optimise revenue opportunities
- Managing inbound leads, including developing client relationships with new clients, leading preparation of meeting or pitch materials and collaborating with key team members to ensure conversations and proposals meet a high standard of excellence
- Devise and roll out an outbound sales strategy, that understands who our ideal buyers are, where they are and how we can connect with them.
- Ownership of all new business pitches (organic will be handled by the Client Services team). You will often be the pitch lead (sometimes you will delegate this to another team member), and you will be accountable for signing off materials required for meetings or pitches with new business leads.
- You will be a big part of driving the external profile of Coolr, amongst the industry peers and brand decision makers. This will include Identifying events to attend and networks to participate in to support Coolr growth and brand awareness in the market place
- Devising and optimising marketing + comms strategy. Your team will include a comms/marketing manager to activate but the team would look to you for guiding on the overall strategy
- Pro-active in spotting opportunities to cross/up sell and for seeing potential challenges
You will be:
- Social or Creative agency experience/background
- Strong and proven experience delivering (or exceeding) new business revenue targets
- Proven track record for growing revenue / high pitch conversion rate
- Detail-orientated – ensuring all work is delivered on time without ever compromising on quality or creativity.
- Excellent presentation/deck creation and delivery skills. You will set the standard for presentation of pitches/creds, inspiring the team to continually raise the bar with their presentation skills and pitch ‘theatre’
- Able to build strong relationships with potential new clients and current
- Passion and enthusiasm for networking and building relationships.
- Able to handle multiple clients and prioritise your time and internal resource based on requirement.
- Able to demonstrate a good knowledge of popular culture and social media news and updates
- Able to demonstrate strong organisational, administrative and time management skills.
- Able to demonstrate a can-do attitude and willing to go the extra mile to deliver on objectives
