Growth Director
To support this trajectory, we’re hiring our first Growth Director a senior, commercially minded leader who will help define how Coolr grows in the U.S. market.
Who are Coolr?
Coolr is a world-class independent social media agency founded 8 years ago in London. Coolr is now on a mission to scale quickly into the US market and is already winning clients, doing award worthy work and growing quickly. We operate at the intersection of strategy, creativity, and community helping ambitious brands turn social into a genuine growth driver.
We are currently a tight, high-calibre team of 6 and entering a pivotal growth phase. Over the next 12 months, we plan to scale to 20+, with a clear ambition to reach 100 within three years.
About the role:
To support this trajectory, we’re hiring our first Growth Director a senior, commercially minded leader who will help define how Coolr grows in the U.S. market.
Reporting directly to the President, this role is responsible for building and maintaining a high-quality new business pipeline through outbound strategy, PR, events, and relationships. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who understands how agencies actually grow through reputation, networks, and consistent market presence.
You will shape how Coolr shows up in the market, who we engage with, and how we convert attention into long-term client partnerships.

Own and execute Coolr’s outbound growth strategy across PR, partnerships, events, and proactive outreach
Build and maintain a strong pipeline of senior-level marketing prospects and agency intermediaries
Position Coolr as a credible, differentiated voice in the social and digital marketing space
Leverage an existing U.S. network to unlock conversations with brands, intermediaries, and partners
Plan and deliver high-impact events that drive awareness, relationships, and opportunity
Work closely with the President to align growth priorities with commercial and strategic goals
Oversee the development of growth-led marketing materials, narratives, and credentials
Track market dynamics, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities to inform strategy
Help shape the growth culture, process, and discipline as the agency scales
What we are looking for 👀
Senior growth, new business, or commercial experience within a New York based agency
Deep understanding of the U.S. marketing ecosystem, including agencies, intermediaries, and CMOs
A proven ability to generate and convert high-quality opportunities not just leads
Strong existing relationships across brands, agency partners, and intermediaries
Experience leading PR initiatives and live or experiential events
Commercially sharp, strategically minded, and comfortable operating in ambiguity
Confident, credible communicator who can represent the agency at a senior level

💰 Base salary of $120,000–$160,000 + commission-based compensation, reflective of experience and performance.
